How to make a bootable USB



Basically, we all have a USB drive that we don't use. You can transform this USB into a working position disk for windows, Mac, Linux, or a problem solving device for the system. It is very important to possess a bootable USB mainly if you are a Netbook user. ot is very beneficial to have it. With a bootable USB, used for the installation of operating system, the installation becomes faster and saves the DVD too. With the USB drive, the installation of operating system will be very convenient and easy.
So in order to make a bootable USB drive, you can make use of the command Prompt on account of a windows default program. For this. We need atleast 4GB minimum capacity. Below we have given the step by step procedure for creating a bootable USB on behalf of the windows installation media. 

Step #1:-

On your system and put the USB flash drive into it. We have to run the Command Prompt as an executer. First of all, we are required to search cmd. So in the windows start menu, type cmd on the search box. After the search result came out, right click on it and choose 'Run as administrator'. 

Step #2:-

The next step is to write DISKPART using your keyboard, on Command Prompt and strike the enter key. Wait for sometime and allow the program to run. 

Step #3:-

After that, write list disk in order to see the working disks on the computer and press the enter button. Here you will see in the active disks list that Disk 0 for hard drive and Disk 1 for the USB flash drive. 

Step #4:-

After that using your keyboard, write 'select disk 1'and press the Enter button on keyboard. This is for verifying that disk 1 will be executed in the next step. 

Step #5:-

The next step is to write clean on the Command Prompt and strike the enter button. This will clean all the records of the drive. 

Step #6:-

Now type 'create partition primary' and push the enter key. This will make a primary partition which will be given as the name of Partition 1 by windows.

Step #7:-

In this step, write 'select partition 1' and strike enter. It will select the partitiin one in order to arrange it as a working partition.

Step #8:-

For making the partition working, write 'active'  so that you will be able to use it, and push the enter button.

Step #9:-

In order to format the active partition as NTFS file system, write 'format fs=NTFS quick'. For small drives it will execute in a few minutes but for larger data it will consume time to execute.

Step #10:-

In the final step, write exit and leave the diskpart  program. The USB flash drive is bootable now. After that, you can copy the files for the purpose of installing operating system. Now you can take benefit from the bootable USB flash drive.
